Summary

Charles's voice echoes through the factory, concerned and tense. Edwin wishes he could let Charles find him, let him soothe away the panic with consolatory words and gentle touches.
The problem is, Edwin knows what Charles sounds like when he's lying.

“Edwin? What was that?” Crystal barged into the room, looking sleep-rumpled and grumpy. She frowned at Charles blearily before looking over to Edwin.
“Who’s this guy?” she asked.
Charles felt his whole world caving in.
“My question precisely,” Edwin stated primly. When he turned his gaze on Charles, it was cold and unfamiliar.
“Who are you?”

Charles gets cursed on a case, causing Edwin, Crystal, and everyone he's ever met to lose all memory of him. Only one person, or rather, cat, is immune to the curse's magic, and Charles was really hoping he'd never have to see him again.Bookmarked by paintroller21

Summary
“I would rather get ripped apart than play this game with you,” he spat, letting all of the venom he was capable of sink into his words.
The boy’s face crumpled. It was as if Edwin had somehow found the exact worst thing to say to him, like he’d not only stabbed him but twisted the knife on the way out.
The last thing he saw before he died was the boy, face red from screaming as he reached out for Edwin.
It almost looked like he was sad.
XXXSome unknown events in Hell strip Edwin of his memories, leaving him with no knowledge of the last few decades. Charles is going to save him though, even if he has to drag Edwin out, kicking and screaming.
