Summary
“Always liked the stars, me,” Crowley says, and puts his own head atop of Aziraphale’s. “I can guide them to some that I made, maybe. It would be a real hoot. Some of mine have burnt out since I made them, but there’s still plenty out there. No rush, there. They’ll last for a couple of billion years.”
As may the humans, at this rate. They’re already spread out over three new planets, the population growing at startling rates. For the first time in centuries, humanity has hope again. Hope, and one guardian angel and demon.
Or: At world's end, Aziraphale and Crowley board the last spaceship leaving Earth.

Bookmarker's Notes
this one made me cry- something about love transcending time and space. something about love and loving and caring. something about new beginnings. something about how it’ll all be ok in the end. something about how different can be just as lovely, and how missing the old is still ok. something about love.

Summary
A twist of fate brings two people back together, sparking a connection neither of them expected. Connor, living on Hank's couch, needs to figure out who he is post-liberation. Captain Charlie Allen is living alone in a two-bedroom apartment, living to work and working to live.
They had almost forgotten one another—until they're called to the same hostage situation on a cold, windy January day.
~
“Connor, DPD junior detective.” Connor’s hand was slender and cool in Charlie's hand as they shook.
Fuck, of course he’s still around.
Connor had talked down an android who had been threatening to jump off a roof with a little girl last August. He was efficient. Calculating. Better than any human negotiator.

Look, live in London for long enough, and nothing will faze you. It’s not that you don’t notice, of course you notice, if you went around blatantly ignoring things like this, you’d be dead and thus no longer living in London. You just… you just learn to absorb things like this and move on.
