Summary
Mike starts having bizarre dreams of him and Harvey in different periods of time. Then, it starts happening when he’s still awake. Harvey is there to pick up the pieces and figure out exactly what’s going on. Cue nauseating fluff and just as much angst both in the present and past iterations of Harvey and Mike.
Just a fair warning that they did Not Have A Good Time in most of their past lives, which are full of loss, tragedy, and the homophobia that you'd expect from the respective time periods. But I promise a happy ending for our Mike and Harvey!
TL;DR: These idiots are basically destined to be together because they’re both too stubborn to let each other go. Maybe this time they'll actually get it right.
Edit: I originally had this take place ambiguously after S2, but decided to change it to post-prison shortly after Mike is back working for Harvey. We're just going to say that Rachel and Mike broke up before he went to prison and that Jessica is in the process of having Harvey take over everything but hasn't left yet. The horrific 'Harvey dates his therapist' plot point naturally does not exist here because why. And in this fic, Gallo succeeded in stabbing Mike so prison was a little more traumatic.
