In which: Jonathan is the unfortunate Daily Bugle intern tasked with taking pictures of New York's new favorite superhero, Steve struggles with the trials and tribulations of maintaining a secret identity, and Nancy is just trying to do some actual goddamn investigative journalism for once.

Summary
Having lived his entire life in a small town obsessed with Christmas, Jonathan has grown to resent the holiday. It doesn't help that the influx of visiting tourists staying at the Byers Bed & Breakfast for the season makes it their busiest time of year. When Nancy Wheeler arrives feeling disappointed her boyfriend is stuck in New York for their vacation, Jonathan offers to keep her company while she does all the touristy stuff. It's only supposed to be a friendly favor, but the more time they spend together, the easier it is for Jonathan to fall for her. Is it so crazy to think Nancy would be happier with him than she is with her asshole big-city boyfriend who couldn't be bothered to spend Christmas with his girlfriend?
But then Steve Harrington finally shows up, and Jonathan realizes he might've been wrong. Not only does Steve not seem like the asshole Jonathan thought he was, but he and Nancy actually look happy together. Obviously, it's time for Jonathan to face the fact that his feelings are unrequited and move on.
It'd be easier to do, probably, if Steve and Nancy would stop inviting Jonathan along on their dates.

Summary
In the grand order of things, light and darkness clash. Space condenses. Time collapses. Life persists. Space, the vast ocean of everything, is doomed to die. It's been doomed for centuries; and nobody is more aware of this than a man whose entire existence depends on such an inevitable fate. Unfortunately, Xigbar's always been awful with taking orders, and waiting around to die has always been boring as hell. With only a few hours to midnight on the Doomsday clock, Xigbar hedges his bets with the most confounding companion he can think of, just to take the edge off. Or, make it substantially worse.
