But these days, Phil missed that feral energy, that barely curtailed eagerness. So as soon as he clocked the hungry, overstrung look in Dan’s eyes, he knew he'd do whatever he could not to let it dissolve in his hands.
He tugged the puppet back on firmly and roped his arms around Dan’s neck, pulling him back into a kiss, not giving him a moment to overthink this.
