“I haven’t…” she starts, watches his blue eyes narrowed in concern and it’s distracting, everything’s distracting. “I haven’t had a body in a hundred years,” Zelda manages, and shrugs one shoulder, as if to say what can you do? “I was Hylia, mostly, and a little bit me, but I wasn’t a person. I was the sun and the wind and the water and the dirt and I was in a prison and I was the prison. I feel like I’m blindfolded, now, without that sense of the world, but also everything is so bright and loud and close and I hardly know how I’m managing to speak to you when my skin is feeling wind for the first time in a century. It’s…” she trails off, her words failing her, which is infuriating because she’s a scholar, she’s good at words. “It’s a lot,” she finishes awkwardly, for lack of anything better to say.

Summary
It was easy to see why someone would want to leave Pelican Town to go to the city, given how small the town was and how remote it could feel on quiet, slow days.
Penny understood how people could want to leave for a larger life outside the valley, but she did not share in the sentiment. Even on the quiet days, even on the days where an argument with her mother escalated into a fight, she had no real desire to leave home for a far-off place. Pelican Town was home, always welcome and always welcoming.
When word came in that a new farmer would finally be taking up residence on the old Amundsen Farm after years of no one, part of Penny was not surprised that someone would want to come to Pelican Town. She could not help but be curious, wanting to greet and get to know the new farmer.
Still, there was no way for her to have guessed what had driven the farmer out of the big city and into the remote valley, and why she was so very quiet and quick to run. Still, there was no way she would let it drive her off in turn.

Din stared at the armor, how it moved, and tried to understand it in his mind. His fingers rested on the pauldron and it nearly purred at his touch. It felt warm and it shifted beneath him like a muscle. He pulled away quickly in surprise but as his fingers hovered above, it grew up towards him. The silvery mass moved up and wrapped itself around his fingers.

Din jumped at the voice in his mind and jerked back, stumbling a few steps away.

Summary
The Anakin time travel fic, where he decides he hates the Jedi AND the Sith, so the logical course of action here is to rescue 200 000 clone children and help revive a Mandalorian faction, at the same time as he's royally screwing over Palpatine's plans and leading the Jedi in a goose chase across the galaxy, because why not?

Cobb needs some help with a problem, and Din needs some time to think about the big picture: what it means to live with the consequences of the Creed, and what life might be like in his own skin. He ends up staying longer than expected.

They are both already falling hard but need to circle each other for quite a while before being sure of their approach. Din really ought to go.
