Originally, it had a literal meaning: the divine right of kings was invoked [...] as legitimation (the only one above every sublunary power) for the absolutist authority the monarch wielded, that is, the endorsement of God for the monarch's reign.
The RDA is defeated and Spider instated as the ruler of the last few leftovers of humanity on Pandora. He should feel greatful, he does not.

Summary
Spider stood on shaky legs, spinning in place as the atokirina landed on his arms and shoulders in a gentle caress. And just as certain as they claimed him, they flitted back into the air, moving into the trees slowly as though beckoning him.
He saw the sign for what it was. The Great Mother was calling to him, and he would listen.
So Spider followed.

Or, the desperate actions of a lonely child force those around him to confront demons long thought dead and buried... For a heart darkened by hate cannot see, and those who cannot see are doomed to wander blindly from the Great Mothers grace. Embracing hope, love and family will change the course of history on Pandora forever.

Tonowari and Ronal take him in and Spider grows up with this family until the day the Sully family appears seeking uturu.
