Summary
It’s not hard to read Liam’s body language when he’s hunched so far in on himself it’s like he wants to disappear, but Theo immediately takes note of several factors that cause him to frown in both confusion and concern.
Again, Liam has chosen to lay on Theo’s side of the bed, which is unusual. He’s got his headphones in as well, which isn’t unusual, but is also something Scott had once mentioned to Theo was Liam’s stand-in anchor when he was still learning how to control himself.
It’s the shirt that’s the real indicator that something is up.

Maybe he should have known. Being the Alpha of the pack, and Liam's friend, he should have seen it sooner. Like a fool, he thought that he knew what Liam looked like when he was in love, having seen how he was with Hayden, and it never in a million years would have occurred to him that Liam would have fallen for someone as pernicious and complex as Theo.
