“You're good at that car stuff,” Bradley said quickly. When Max turned around to glance at him, Brad’s face and gritted teeth looked like it pained him to speak the words out loud.
Max snorted, turning to face him, “Don’t strain yourself.”
“Shut up.” Bradley quickly snapped before taking a breath, “Just- I...I want to make a deal.”
Max raised his brow, the last time they made a deal, it didn't exactly end well for Bradley.

Or it's 2003, the summer after his junior year of college, and Max finds himself at home in Spoonersville, interning at PJ’s Dad’s repair shop. When a graduated Bradley and his car comes into the shop, Max agrees to teach him how to take care of his vehicle, but this professional agreement grows into something more when Max realizes that Bradley may not be as bad as he used to be. Suddenly, when Roxanne also turns up in town, Max must figure out if she still has lingering feelings towards him, and if those feelings are reciprocated.
On top of sorting out his personal life, Max and his friends must uncover the mysterious truth behind the summer festival and the strange events occurring in the town's nature preserve.

Summary
“It’s called an Asgardian Earwig. It’s a type of parasite that is created using magic.” Doctor Strange recited from the book, “If it manages to enter a person’s head, it will bite their brain, releasing a toxin that will cause the host to fall unconscious, and allow the parasite itself to mentally enter their subconsciousness.”
Doctor Strange flicks his finger and a page flips in the book.
“Luckily, I can still sense Deadpool’s presence, which means the earwig hasn’t yet found his subconsciousness yet, that gives us time.”

Or Deadpool and Spider-Man fight a witch, who summons a magical earwig that enters Wade’s brain, forcing him unconscious while the parasite eats his mind from the inside out. Using a spell from Doctor Strange, Peter must enter Wade’s mind and navigate his memories to kill the earwig before it’s too late.
