Taehyun stilled and averted her gaze completely. “It—it doesn’t matter. I just wanted you to have a good time.”
Kai could tell Taehyun was thinking hard, she wasn’t very subtle about hiding the war going on inside her brain. Kai could practically see the cogs clanking and whirring behind her eyes. She so desperately wanted to be privy to all her thoughts, no matter what they may be.
“Tell me what you’re thinking about right now.” Kai tentatively brought her hand up to Taehyun’s face and watched as the small action caused her brows to uncrease.
