I was just…he’d been sitting, minding his own business in his room in the flat he and Sirius shared, and he’d heard Sirius groan his name. And really, his first reaction had been a sinking feeling in his stomach, the stopping of his heart for a moment.
Because he’d thought that his best friend had been hurt. That, somehow, Sirius had done something extraordinarily stupid and hit himself over the head somehow. Or maybe he was violently ill. Either way, when Remus had heard his name, his first reaction was that Sirius was calling for his help.
