Annabeth hates him, she’s sure of it, because for years she’s known about the hero of the Great Prophecy and the fate he was sure to suffer, then Percy has to go and turn out to be pretty much the best damn person she’s ever met. He’s good, and she hates him for it, because she’s gone and gotten attached to him, when she’s counting down the summers until he dies and leaves her behind.
Still, she’ll fight by his side no matter what. No matter how much it hurts.
