Summary
As Peter got into the car and buckled his seatbelt, he felt Tony's hand press against his forehead. The man’s frown deepened, and he started taking off his watch.
“Put this on,” he instructed.
“Huh? Why?” Peter took a moment longer than he usually would to react. His thoughts were muddled and lagging.
“It has sensors,” Tony said. “I want to check your temperature.”
“Okay,” Peter mumbled, pressing his cheek against the glass of the car window. “But I don't think it's that bad.”
Tony helped him fasten the device around his wrist. He scrolled through the little screen until he found what he was looking for. His breath caught when he read the number.

After taking a brief hiatus due to being sick, Peter is ready to jump back into life as Spider-Man. Unfortunately, his body has other plans.
It's some Irondad and Spiderson fluff, largely inspired by the dozens of similar fics on this website I have read.

Summary
This is your typical Tony Stark adopts Peter Parker after Aunt May dies in a tragic accident fanfic.
I plan for this to be a long-fic, so I have no idea what is going to happen, but I promise lots of angst and even more fluff. I hope this turns into a slow-burn adoption fic where Tony Stark is the reluctant parental figure.
This is loosely set after homecoming, but I have no respect for the MCU timeline.
And yes, I'm stuck in 2017.

“No offense Tony but we all already know the rules, what else is new?” Natasha asked. Her goal was to ask no questions to get out of there sooner, but she couldn't help herself she just really wanted to leave. Happy and Rhodey shoot a quick glance at Tony, both wondering if he's going to tell them about Peter. “Uh well, there's going to be someone… of the younger side around.” Tony says clearly wanting the conversation to end.

Everyone knows Tony Stark hates sharing his lab. Except with his intern from Queens. With the Avengers finally moving back into the tower after the Accords, Tony just wants to get through the day to relax in his lab with Peter. Except the Avengers dont know about Peter, and Peter doesn't know they're moving back in. But with new security protocols, Peter can't get through with no badge. Cue the kid being escorted away, Tony storming the lobby, and the employees realizing they've made a mistake.
