Suguru, who was doing crosswords at the table, dropped his pencil and stared at his friend. He didn’t think he heard her right.
“I’m what.”
“Trending. On Twitter. X. Whatever,” Shoko repeated. She shot him a glare, as if Suguru was the dumbest person alive and couldn’t comprehend simple facts. “It’s about yesterday’s stream.”
“But what for? I was not with Satoru yesterday.” Suguru took Shoko’s cellphone and stared at the screen, skimming through the messages.
Ugh. Definitely not the quiet Sunday Suguru was hoping for.
Turns out, being friends with an internet celebrity is harder than Suguru thought.
