Summary
Oscar knows that Mark didn’t want to essentially abandon him to someone else. That unless it was something of utmost importance, he generally respected Oscar’s anxiety about new people, or unfamiliar situations.
He didn’t drop him off with anyone unless he wasn’t able to be by his side, due to races or duties, or just the occasional time that Oscar wanted to have a sleepover with Logan, or see Uncle Fernando. He liked the familiarity of consistent experiences, he didn’t like the sudden changes.
He had a feeling this was going to be one of those times where Oscar had to do something brave.

“I couldn’t care less how loud you are, buddy. I mean unless its super late or something, but I don’t ever want you to worry about that— that’s why I’m here, yeah? So you can be loud and rambunctious and I can help you gauge when its time to settle down. And I shouldn’t ever be genuinely busy, because again, I’m here for you. I’m here to pay attention and take care of you. I wouldn’t be doing anything that makes it so I can’t do that.”
“For me.” Steve echoed him near-silently.
“For you, yeah. So go on over there and draw to your heart’s content.” Eddie chuckled, motioning to the living room. “I’ll grab somethin’ for me to do and I’ll be there in a second.”
OR
Eddie puts together a little box of some of his old toys and brings them to Steve, and he spends the day healing that part of him that isn’t used to playing. And for once I didn’t write hurt/comfort I just gave Steve a joyous day its all sappy. And Eddie gets a new book to read— Fantastic Mr. Fox— and Steve’s ecstatic abt it.

Summary
He’s tall, is the first thought that flashes through Lando’s brain when he lays eyes on Oscar Piastri. It shouldn’t be a surprise, most men are taller than Lando, but all the same he finds his eyes catching on the width of Oscar’s shoulders, the couple inches that separate them.
He’s also, as a first impression, very eh. Not in like a bad way, just neutral.
