Robin has done the impossible. She got over Tammy. She befriended Steve the hair harrington. She became Will Beyer’s gay Yoda. She survived monsters and saved the world multiple times. Robin Buckley has spit in the face of death and walked away, and got the girl in the end.
The girl of her dreams, Vickie Dunne. The girl who held the whole world in her heart, and tried to help every person she met.
Yet standing with a bouquet of flowers in her hand, staring at Vickie's front door, Robin felt terror quake through her body. She gripped the stems of the flowers tighter, thankful that they were already dead so she didn't murder them any further.
Vickie had sat Robin down a week ago, and explained why Robin had never come to Vickie's house before.

Summary
Robin knows for one thing for certain: Hawkins, Indiana can't catch a fucking break.
In the fallout of Vecna's win, the Party has to contend with much more than the upside down. Not only is the Military creeping into their town, and working to keep them under lock and key, but the residents themselves are desperate for answers. And, if the officials won't give them the answers they want, they intend to find them all themselves. All Robin can do is hope that she and the Party succeed in their mission before the rest of Hawkins succeeds in theirs.

A fix-it fic of sorts. My retelling of the events leading into season 5 (eventually overlapping with season 5 in my own way) from Robin's perspective for the most part.

Summary
Mike, Will, Robin, and Vickie are in the squawk. They're waiting for Dustin, Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, Hopper, and Joyce to return from the upside down. They decided they should go and try to find out where Vecna is keeping all of the kids that he has abducted. Will had gotten knocked out from getting flung across the air by some unknown force (probably Venca) and now Mike, Robin, and Vickie have to keep an eye on him. But Mike finds something out that changes his life forever.

Summary
Too much drama. Yeah, Robin couldn't blame Vickie for wanting to go back to a nice peaceful life, but most of the drama was NOT Robin's fault! Still, can't make someone stay, and with Robin heading off to Massachusetts anyway, probably best to pull off the bandaid, right?
Steve was particularly pushy about getting Robin back to Hawkins for graduation. And sure, okay, you couldn't go through what they'd been through without having a deep abiding bond with the people who were with you, but that didn't explain why Steve was just SO insistent on Robin coming home.
