    Viktor didn’t think it was a problem at first. While older and a bit rough-looking, Jayce was clearly a handsome man. Anyone with eyes could see that. He was also one of the few people who could keep up with Viktor intellectually. He was incredibly kind and shared Viktor’s love of science too. It would be fine if the younger man was infatuated, normal even. He remembers tons of kids having crushes on their older counterparts when he was young. It was harmless and temporary. Viktor would get over it. It would be only a blip in his life.

    He was wrong. As time continued and then the two men grew closer, Viktor fell in love.
