Summary
“Hey Julie…?”
She looked up from her left pinkie finger to see Reggie watching her in fascination.
“What’s up Reg?” she asked, waving her hand around to dry the polish.
“I like that color. It’s a really good Julie purple.” he said.
“Julie purple?” she asked, grinning.
“Yeah, like your dress from the Orpheum and how you always seem to have some sort of purple with you. It’s very...wait what does Flynn call it? ‘On brand’? Yeah! It’s very ‘On Brand Julie.’”
Julie giggled.
“Thanks Reggie..."

Summary
“Luke! Stop it won’t help!” Alex tried.
“It has to. We cannot leave Julie like this!” he bellowed, turning on his friend. God it felt like he was suffocating. The suit was too hot and the room was too bright and his mind was racing.
He kicked at the door before collapsing in front of it, feeling the tell tale lump in his throat growing. He didn’t want to lose it now. He wouldn’t give Caleb the satisfaction. He rested his head on the wood of the door and let a few hot tears escape.
He’d broken his promise. Again. It seemed that was all he was good at.

Summary
In the grand scheme of things, it was an easy detail to fall through the cracks when one accidentally summoned three ghosts, started a band, then saved said ghosts from being destroyed by another villainous ghost. But now, she held the case in her hands and examined it. It felt like a lifetime ago that she had first put the disc in her mom’s stereo and pressed play.

Summary
Ketterdam covered up your secrets perfectly. It’d only been a matter of weeks since you’d fled there, after travelling the exhausting journey across East Ravka until the Fold had stood before you; brooding, dangerous, a death-wish just to look at, let alone enter it.
Maybe you had to thank him for one thing, General Kirigan, because without him—
You never would have crossed the Fold on your own.
A story before the Sun Summoner, but one just as dangerous, devilish, and delicious. Aleksander Morozova was still just as predictable as the day he created the Fold.
