Summary
(Meguru is just a little child, when his father puts out cigarettes on his skin).
Once, Meguru, like everyone else, had a beautiful soulmate mark. Now he has an ugly scar and empty space.
It feels like an execution, and he resigns himself to it. Tells himself that it doesn’t hurt, tells himself that it doesn’t matter, tells himself he doesn’t need it. Meguru will never know his soulmate, will never know love, and it’s fine. It’s fine.
(It’s not).
Then he meets Isagi Yoichi and realises that he doesn’t need the universe, doesn't need a mark, to fall in love.
