The doctor purses her lips in disdain for the crude statement, and it’s only then, when she ducks down once more to examine his chart, that he notices the bite marks on her neck.

Summary
there are certain things jaemin can't help- like when he's grumpy in the morning, and the only person he can smile at is jeno. when he's tired and stressed, but still wants to hear about jeno's day. when jeno's notification on his phone is enough to cheer him up.
he wants preserve the friendship they have, does not want his affection to cause their destruction... but he likes jeno so much. jeno makes him so happy. his feelings are something he cannot control.
they are walking home after class, and jaemin stumbles over something, nothing. it is jeno who catches him, hand on his, and he doesn't let go- like his biggest worry is jaemin getting hurt. like jaemin is someone to him. important, special.
he smiles and tells jaemin to be careful, and jaemin wants to be more than just friends.
