“I think they might be one of your best features,” Eddie says, talking through one side of his mouth the way he does when he’s trying not to smile and failing. The sparks in his eyes are proof enough even without glancing down towards his lips.
“My legs?” Buck asks. He’s heard both good and bad about them, mumbled jokes about legs for days or some man at a bar asking him if he wants something to wrap them around. Even Eddie has made some teasing comments about them just to make Buck smile. It’s easy to fall back into that familiar conversation.
“Your thighs,” Eddie says instead, which is definitely not a familiar conversation topic. “Thighs and eyes.”
