Summary
She blinks, trying to chase away the sleep that still overwhelms her after going to bed so late. She sees, with her eyes half open, the lavender colored walls of her bedroom, her hula lamp on her dresser and just next to it a big watch, a male watch that does not belong to her.
She closes her eyes again and the previous night gradually comes back to her mind, the sweet kisses, the caresses, the walk on the Navy Pier while holding hands, the laughter and the stolen glances.
She can smell his particular perfume, of wood and fire, which has filled her bedroom so quickly since he arrived two days ago.
