Summary
Pearl's got a brother. His name is Grian.
Rather, she /had/ a brother. She hasn't seen him in years.
So when a case pops up in the detective agency where she interns regarding one formerly known 'Yandere Island', the place where her father Professor Gareth Nightman and her brother had moved just a couple years before, Pearl knows she's got to solve it. Especially since the main cause of mishappenings is centered around the high school-- which is split down the middle. Half Hermit High, half Akademi High School. But more importantly, it's where Grian is two months deep into his junior year of high school.Pearl's girlfriend, Gem, says it's dangerous. She lives on the island, and she went to the school. But really, just how dangerous could one high school be?
TL;DR: Pearl the detective is trying to find out what's going on in Akademi High School and save her brother before it's too late-- for all of them.

'Grian.'
A man floated through the void, body contorted into an odd position. He sported a scarlet red sweater which must have been clean at one point, but was now stained with a dark crimson.
'Grian.' The faded whisper of a Watcher’s voice swept through the air again. 'Wake up.'
The man recognized his name and sat up, ignoring the trickle of blood that peeked through his hair. “Where am I?”
'You’re at your house.'
Grian gasped as suddenly he was at his house, crumpled on the grass before the wood-and-stone cottage he had designed himself. “W-Why am I here? What are you doing in my head?” Grian’s eyes flickered purple.
'Only… having a bit of fun.'Or, the Watchers try to get Grian to jump off a cliff for fun, Scar stops him.

Pearl still remembers that night perfectly.
The night Grian was taken, the night she lost everything she cared about, the night she nearly lost her own life.
It’s not, she supposes, anything anybody would forget in a hurry.
Her blood boiled over with anger, but anger is useless, she told herself. Anger won’t get you anywhere in life. So she started an organization.
She found a way to put that anger to use.Grian just wants to be safe.
He ran away from the Watchers a long time ago, but the traces of magic in his blood and his …unusual diet keep attracting the underground queen of this world, the red-clad Scarlet Witch who hunts Watchers with her pack of snowy-white wolves at her side.
Running out of friends’ couches to sleep on, Grian meets Scar at the park, an eccentric artist who models ideas for his dream theme park and sketches pictures of his cat, Jellie.But as the Pearl catches wind of a new quarry in town and Grian slowly falls in love, they’ll both realize that maybe their goals aren’t as simple as they seem. After all, a brother and a sister can only be kept apart for so long.

Gillion let out a gasp at the scenery, still squeezing Chip’s hand, and Chip felt his heart jump in his chest. It was one thing to think about coming out to someone, one thing to talk about it, and a whole entirely different thing to be actually doing it, walking towards the Divine Barchemist with no real plan in his head except to totally wing it.
Chip is trans, and Jay convinces him to come out to Gillion. Apparently, because of the Undersea, Gillion doesn't even really understand the concept of gender, and the whole thing goes a whole lot better than he thought. Did you know Gillion could lay eggs?

The Dread Pirate Martyn knows the ocean better than anyone.
The salt of the sea is always a thick crust in his eyes (sorry, eye) and hair. If his arms aren’t tan and his hair isn’t bleached white from the salt and beating sun, he doesn’t feel at home. Martyn is free on the open sea, freer than he’s ever been.
Pirate Captain Scott Smajor, a former navy officer, hates Martyn with every bone in his body. He has reason, obviously. Who doesn’t, on the ocean? Martyn killed him, and Scott will make sure he pays for that.
But when both captains are suddenly marooned on a remote island, Martyn finds himself confronted by the past, and Scott by the present. Loss rests heavy in both of their hearts, but if someone doesn’t find them soon they might start losing themselves, too.TL;DR, Scott and Martyn are Pirate Captains, who get shipwrecked and marooned on an island together! I haven't been able to stop thinking about pirates for MONTHS and here's the pirate fic I couldn't find the words for before now.

Did I wake up for the birdie on my shoulder, whispering sickly-sweet falsities and sowing them deep inside the monochrome folds of my brain? Is that all living was worth to me?”
He shakes his head, and tears fall forever.Or, giving Ranboo the epic character monologue he deserves.
