It was strange, to see someone you used to know so well, stand before you and not know the first thing about them or how they got to where they are right now.
What had changed?
What had Keith missed?
It, undoubtedly, was the sum of many little things he’d not been there for – the leadership roles Lance had no doubt had the chance – and probably often naught, no choice – to take up with Shiro out of commission.
Maybe it was something he’d learned by watching Shiro more closely after Keith had gotten out of the way.
Maybe this was just who he always had been but Keith had always been too easily aggravated with Lance’s annoying nuances to really notice.
He exhaled deeply.
He wasn’t sure how he felt about it.

“He’s an idiot, and you’re infatuated,” he states as if it’s an indisputable fact.
Seungmin scoffs. “Hey, that’s rude”
“Oh my god. You’re a moronsexual.”
“Innie,” he whines. “Stop it.” He can feel his face heating up as he hides behind his hand.
“Stop what? Calling you out? Reading you like an open book?” He huffs disbelievingly.
“He’s… cute.”
Jeongin spends the next minute making gagging noises directly into the microphone.
“How do you fall for literally the second guy you see?”
Or, Seungmin deals with the age-old problem of falling for your roommate and your roommate's boyfriend.

“So it's just us?” Changbin asks, giving Seungmin a look of uncertainty. “Just the two of us?”
Seungmin shrugs again - he doesn't know what Changbin wants to hear from him. If he could back out of or postpone this trip he would have already done so.
“Only you and me,” Changbin keeps going. “On this drive.”
“Shut up,” Seungmin mumbles, shaking head and marching off to the passenger side of the car. “This is for Hyunjin.”
“For Hyunjin,” Changbin echoes as he slides into the driver's seat. “Right.”
Seungmin doesn't know how he's supposed to survive the next few days with just his ex-boyfriend as his company, in a cramped car at that, but as with most things - it is what it is, so he just has to figure out how to deal.
