    Summary

Spencer nodded, an almost innocent grin on his face. Your head tilted slightly as you watched him, the way his expression brightened so easily. His book was no longer of any interest to him, he had better entertainment now. “Well, do you think so?”

Your brows rose slightly, and upon noticing your confusion he gave a soft chuckle. “Uh, I meant do you think that one tiny crime can be wiped out by a thousand good deeds?”  Your expression faltered at the question before you gave a small shrug, feigning indifference. “I’m not sure. What do you think?..” Spencer was quiet for a moment, taking a pause to consider the question thoughtfully. “I think it depends on the crime committed, and the good deeds done.”

They say you can't outrun the weight of your sins, because no matter how fast you run they will always be latched onto you. This comes to be tested after you challenged fate. Changing your name, your identity, won't be enough to escape your past.
