This is the first in a series of vignettes exploring 'what if' Kylara became Weyrwoman of Benden; Lessa died bringing the Oldtimers forward.
Three Turns after Lessa brought the Oldtimers Forward, Robinton composes a ballad lauding Lessa's sacrifices; the Harpers stage the first performance at Benden Weyr during Turn's End First Night. Later that evening, F'lar shows up on Pridith's ledge, drunk and babbling about Lessa.
Kylara ain't got time for that.
