Summary
Gen cherishes each sensation he's able to feel again, several of which he never thought he would ever get to feel a second time.
He is a mentalist, not an optimist. He hasn't ever considered being able to see the new year again, to feel the cold of the night and the joy of a new day, yet here he is now, on this cliff beside perhaps the most optimistic of them all, dear Senku with his crazy, wild thoughts that he always brings to life.

“Another question for you, Senkuu-chan,” Gen says, still smiling but it’s happier now. Mirthful. “What would you do if I kissed you? Right now?”
Ah, Senkuu thinks then, I guess Tsukasa and Gen aren’t dating.
He considers his response, as well as this new piece of information.
He goes for the honest answer: “Die. Because you have a bit of peanut sauce on your lips from dinner, and I’m allergic to that shit. It’d cause quite the scandal if you murdered some poor, innocent high school student.”
Gen licks his lips. "Noted."
In which it's 2019 AD, and lately, strangers have been smiling at Senkuu as if he’s an old friend. Alternatively—three thousand and seven hundred years’ worth of memories in the span of eight months.

Summary
In Gen's humble opinion, snow days were the best. When there are blankets of snow covering everything in the area and the air is chill and crisp. When soft snow petals fall from the sky and land in his wings, and he can shake them out with a little shimmy. The day's that he can fly low to the ground and crash into a snowbank, shaking the fluffy powder off him while Suika and the rest of the village children follow him.

Summary
To say today wasn’t Gen’s day would be an understatement. He wasn’t even an hour in, and he already felt like high tailing it back to his bed for the rest of the day. A headache was blossoming at the back of his skull, and his eyes and lips were dry.
Worst of all, though, his wings felt too sensitive. Like the nerves had become heightened.
