    Summary

Dick stood stock still, his heartbeat hammering in his ears. As the rain pattered against his suit, his shoulder throbbed violently. The man in front of him was talking, but Dick couldn’t hear what he’d said. The rain was so loud. He felt something awful crack open inside him that he’d carefully never examined before.

Years of pushing every painful thing aside have built up a heavy debt, and it's time for it to be paid. Dick Grayson is due to face the storm.

    Summary

As an eight year old Robin, Dick had traversed the tightrope of good and evil effortlessly, understanding how to navigate the world's morality in the way that only a child could. He knew right, he knew wrong and he knew how to differentiate between the two. As an adult, Dick didn’t have that certainty, and he no longer ran, skipped and cartwheeled over that tightrope. Instead, he crawled in a way that felt humiliating, even when no one else knew how much he was struggling to stand.

It's been six months since Nightwing dragged himself from the burning warehouse he'd been held captive in; bloodied, broken and with the fury of an avenging phoenix. And Dick Grayson has spent that time painstakingly putting his persona back together in a way that belies the total destruction wreaked over his mind and body.

Sure, the lie isn't as perfect as he wishes it was. But none of that matters. Not really, anyway. Because as the curtains open on the performance of Dick Grayson's lifetime, he knows one bitter truth; this is his path, and he has to walk it alone.

    Summary

Being assigned a semester-long study partner shouldn’t feel like a personal crisis—but unfortunately, Wally West has been paired with Dick Grayson. Y’know, just the hot billionaire Wayne heir who definitely has his life put together.

Dick Grayson is just trying to survive the semester without falling behind, letting anyone down, or thinking too hard about the way Wally West keeps showing up anyway.

A slow-burn college AU about overthinking, showing up when it matters, and realizing that maybe keeping up doesn’t have to mean doing it alone.

    Summary

Dick Grayson has...actually been okay as of late. Him and his siblings had mostly made up since Spyral: things weren't the same as they used to, but the family was no longer ignoring him and he was actually being sort of welcomed into their cycle again. Him and Wally (he's alive, yippie!) were in a happy, so far very stable and loving relationship and were enjoying their new life after moving in together, though Damian had yet to warm up to the red head. It felt like he was finally getting a break from all the chaos and violence in his life, finally managing to put some of his past behind and build a life with the people he loved the most.

He wasn't expecting a small, forgettable bust of a drug operation to be the trigger for everything going wrong. Now everyone he loves is in danger and he is, as usual with things that go wrong in his life, at fault. Nevermind the fact he's the one being tortured. Why can't things ever just stay okay?

    Summary

"Young men are so confident that there will always be more time, later... Old men know better. We remember all the times when we thought there would be more time, and there wasn’t. All the things I thought I would say to your father, someday, remain in my heart, unsaid."

Three generations of Farseers. Three friendships that defy expectation and understanding. Three men, both young and old, with so much left to say.
