Summary
Erebor is reclaimed, but that doesn't mean that the job of being king is an easy one, not least because every other dwarf under the mountain seems to want to have a say in his upcoming wedding.
Fortunately for Thorin, what awaits him in his rooms when the day is done makes everything seem so much easier.
Sometimes he is still surprised by his own happiness, but Bilbo and Dwalin enjoy surprising him, so that's alright.

Summary
Female hobbits are decidedly more fierce than their male counterparts. When Gandalf arrives at Bag End, he expects one Bilbo Baggins, son of Bungo Baggins, and to easily convince (read, manipulate) the Gentlehobbit into an adventure.
Instead, he finds Bilberry, daughter of Bungo and Belladonna, Ladyhobbit, landlady, and retired Captain of the Bounders.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins hasn't had a heat since his tweens—not since he tucked that part of himself away with the rest of his foolish, romantic instincts.
Thorin's Rut has been triggered for the first time in his life—something sacred among dwarves, only ever meant for a One.
They are both fighting it. Failing. And the only thing keeping the king himself from tearing the world apart to get to Bilbo is a crumbling barrier of decency, some very helpful goats, and three very tired chaperones.
Meanwhile, corrupted magic stalks Beorn's lands, a celestial Maia begins to stir awake in the forest, and the Company tries desperately to keep their burglar comfortable, clothed, and not climbing their king like a tree.
It's not going great.

Summary
Some Hobbit families can trace their roots back farther than others. Those hobbits may not agree on just what their ancestor was, but they all agree that if they don’t leave the Shire, then there is no concern over that side of the family showing up in a hobbit.
Until the Fell Winter reminds them that sometimes it’s better to know who is who.
Bilbo brings something old; older than the entire Shire and awoken only partially before in his Took Lineage. With him on the quest, it’ll make all the difference when going up against Azog and Smaug.
After all, what better to fight a dragon with than a Ghost Fae?

Summary
When Thorin's rule as King Under the Mountain comes into question 13 years after Erebor was reclaimed, Fíli alongside Ori step up to assure their restless kinfolk of the future of their reclaimed kingdom by offering to marry and produce the next in line to the Throne Under the Mountain.
While having known each other since they were pebbles, both Fíli and Ori will realize they have a lot to learn if their nascent friendship and arranged marriage have a chance of making it at all.
Can love grow amidst duty and remain, or was their idea all for naught?
