“Up for a drinking game tonight?”
“Sure,” Vash chirped as he eagerly stood with a smile, “I don’t think I have a deck of cards though…”
The bottle of whiskey was set on the table before Wolfwood slumped into one of the chairs, “doesn’t hafta be a car game. We can play Eye Spy, or Never Have I Ever or somethin’.”
Vash sheepishly smiled before asking, “how do you play Never Have I Ever?”
Vash and Wolfwood try to unwind on ship 3 with a drinking game. Against his better judgement, Vash reveals a truth about himself that he would have preferred to keep a secret. At least from Wolfwood, given the feelings he'd been harboring for him since they met. But maybe it wasn't a mistake to let the cat out of the bag. To Vash's surprise, Wolfwood tries to offer a solution that could relieve the ache deep in Vash's core, or break his heart. The offer is too good to not take that gamble.

He's still jittery when you reach your doorway, leaning down to brush his nose against yours in a sort of almost-kiss, the way he's learned ship cameras don't count as public displays of affection. "G'night, mayfly." He retreats with a crooked grin. "Remind me again why I can't come in with you?"
"The official line is that there's a risk of contamination," you smile, cat-like, as you press your palm to the pad besides your door and it opens with a hiss. "If you're asking me, it's 'cause they think you'll give me Plant cooties if we share a bed. Might spread it to the whole crew."
"That's not fair," he whines, lingering on your doorstep. "Pretty sure Plants are immune to cooties. Probably."
You and Vash keep in touch.
