Summary
They’re pressed against you, cheek flat against your sternum. It’s fucking insane, the thought’s downright outragous, but you could swear you feel the heat of their face, of their breath, of their words whispered directly there, as if there were still muscles and sinews, nerves and skin stretched over your bones. They’re so close, fingers reaching inside you, and with a smirk to yourself you realize they’re close to you in a way they can’t be to anyone else.

Summary
Vincent stood slightly hunched, needing the support of the wardrobe to keep standing, as he was holding his side in a weak attempt to stop the blood from a wound Matthias couldn’t quite make out. His face was stretched into a painful grimace, his clothes drenched in a mixture of mud and blood and he was pale, his tired eyes searching the room frantically, until they came to rest on him.
“You’re bleeding”, Matthias stated, his eyes fixated on the wound Vincent was clamping at.
“Your deduction skills truly are extraordinary.”

Summary
“Don’t look so grim, silly”, a voice rang from his side, and Kasef turned his head immediately. He’d recognize that voice amongst thousands, millions even. A chuckle rang through the words. “You’re scaring off all your advisors.”
A short woman stood next to the throne, her black dress dragging a little over the floor. It was adorned by golden accents, details and ornaments that balanced symbols of both nations she now was associated with. Her hair was clean split in the middle, the right side shining in a snow white, while the other seemed to have the color of the darkest night, pitch black against her light skin. A golden crown was placed on top of her hair, smaller than Kasef’s own, but he always had thought that it fits her perfectly. Her green eyes looked at him, her smile gentle, yet with an ever-present hint of mischievousness.

Summary
"Do you regret something we did?", the worm, no, Aaravos asked and he was almost tempted to say yes. He was tempted to admit, that he wanted nothing more than to undo everything and go back to the day Harrow was killed. He wanted to go back and defend his friend's life with his own. He wanted to stay next to him, no matter which insults his king would throw at him. Harrow's life was more important than his. It always has been and he could scold himself for not acting like it back then, when it still mattered.
But he didn't say it. Harrow was dead and there was no way he could go back. So why should he bother to wish for something impossible? He was no child.
"No", he said then, after a pause. "I do not regret a single thing."
And that was the truth, in its own way.
