Summary
After being fired from the Lotus Pier police department for becoming overly involved in a case against the Wen crime family, Wei Ying moves to a small town he visited in his youth to raise his new adopted son, A-Yuan. There he reconnects with the seemingly cold and aloof Lan Zhan who he had always admired. When the two discover a murder plot which shakes the community to their core, they realize they need to work together to bring peace back to area.
7/24: editing for typos, more for a sense of closure now that it's complete. No major changes.
