   Summary

   Lex is used to the gladiator events. Hell he's hailed by the crowds a favorite for his rare appearances at charity events, donning a suit and fighting against other elite for the purposes of driving up ticket prices and tempting those not usually here to actually show up. He's proud of it actually, having the backing of the crowd and being popular which is important in his line of work.
   What he's NOT used to... is to be overlooked in favor of some nobody from nowheresville.

   "Leex-!" Bruce grins, already at least a goblet in, "Have you seen the new guy?"
   "New guy?"
   "Yea, they're already screaming for him."
   And Lex turns his attention to the crowd. Where somebody would have noticed his bald head by now and started a schant, there's silent. ok, there is a low chant but it's not for him.
   "Super!Man! Super!Man!"
   Who the hell...
