Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?
Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.

It takes a lot to catch Tartaglia, 11th of the Fatui Harbingers, off guard. Between surviving three months with the monsters of the Abyss at age fourteen, fighting his way up from square one through the ranks of the Fatui to his current position, and maintaining his facade as “The Greatest Toy Salesman in Snezhnaya” in the eyes of his youngest and most mischievous brother; yes, it would take a lot to find him in a truly tight spot.
Waking up in a body that existed nearly 3,700 years ago in the land that had yet to become Liyue? That would be disorienting even for a god. And speaking of gods, the only person he can turn to happens to be one. Here's hoping that the younger Zhongli is as friendly as the one Childe has grown close to.
