Scout gives hugs to the Team to improve morale. Some are sweet to him, some have other ideas.
The initial weirdness and tension got better as little while had passed; he resumed breathing at a more relaxed pace, though still not at ease. His arms found more comfortable purchase around the man and there was something genuinely reassuring in the slow, gentle way Heavy patted his back.
Scout sighed. Much as he hated to admit, this was actually pretty nice. His muscles relaxed, frantic thoughts slowed down. For a moment he forgot all about his situation, the job, the war. All melted away under the firm touch, putting his mind at ease, even if for a short while.

But I insisted he come in for a checkup, unannounced, so I could really only blame myself for his apparent discomfort as he swung his legs in a rather frantic manner and puffed hot air into his praying palms.
"So what's this about, doc?" Scout wrinkled his nose. "I told ya I'm fine."
"Just a routine checkup." Neither of us believed it.

Valentino takes control.
The ribbons running across the silky corset were a surprisingly comfortable fastening in surprisingly uncomfortable positions. It wasn't often that Vox indulged Valentino's fantasies he wasn't sure of, but the absolute fuck-up of a heavenly provocation required some concessions on his side. Reluctantly, he agreed to indulge Val this one time.
Vox knew the gift box with a huge, aggressively pink ribbon on top was a mistake to open, but he did so anyway.
