It was 8:02 AM, the beginning of a Thursday.
William slowly opened his eyes before quickly closing them and hiding his face under the duvet.
He felt like shit. His throat felt like sandpaper, his head ached, his eyes were watery, is nose was super runny, and he felt warm- to warm for comfort.
William opened his eyes again and rolled over, excepting his partner to be there, but he wasn't. Confused, William rolled over again (back to his original place) and sat up. His head ringed in a protest and just lay back down but William ignored it (well tried).
