Summary
Too many years ago to count The Star Blotter found his way out of the void, not that anyone particularly noticed. The voidwalkers kept up their worship, and the "stars" just kept shining bright in the sky without interruption. He spent his time running through worlds, alone and unaware there was another option. That is, until he pulls his comm out with too much force and the glitching screen sends him onto Hermitcraft. Now trapped and convinced other players are no different than the mobs he runs until he's caught. Cornered and scared, can Moss learn what it means to be loved? What it means to live here, on earth, instead of floating in the void?
And what of who he was before? Will it even matter come the end?

Summary
This is a rewrite of one of my fics from 2023 because I got an itch. This is not a promise that I will return to the second fic in the series.
Two of them stuck around. They lived in opposite halves of a duplex, and tried not to watch how the other lived their life without the other. The third got out, just as all of them always said they would. Nothing really changed in those seven years of separation, but will it if she comes back for a week? Maybe, but either way he'll breathe in the stench of old cigarettes still stuck to the couch and take her to the pond from when they were teens, and she'll leave again far too quick.
