Abyss asked in a curious tone of voice, not even trying to hide his interest in this matter. Abel felt his heart skipping a beat when he heard that question as he innocently thought he got caught, but still remained calm and kept walking without looking back, very steadily.
"I was simply enchanted by it. It was truly beautiful and delicate, making me want to cherish it very dearly... even though I regarded it as something beyond my reach.”
Abel's words sounded quite metaphorical, as if he was actually talking about something else and cleverly disguising it with that flower talk. Abyss looked down, thinking about what those words could actually mean, because he perfectly knew Abel wouldn’t just say something meaningless. He did seem really focused on that flower and Abyss just had to know what it truly symbolized for him

Abel didn't get what Abyss was talking about, until he felt his face turning towards his shirt collar as he started to smell it very softly, even closing his eyes while doing it. Abyss's heart was racing, but at the same time he felt very calm by having Abel's scent so close to him like this. The truth is, some time ago Abyss felt truly tempted to smell Abel's left behind coat so he did, and since then he felt really calm by thinking about it. Now Abyss was feeling so stressed out that all he could think about was experiencing that soothing scent all over again, so he couldn't help but approach Abel so shamelessly like this, accepting any punishment for it in advance.
