He watches Hollander’s eyes track over the laundry detergent sitting on a shelf, the amount in the hamper and back to the machine, and it’s as obvious as if he’s got a little thought bubble actually hovering above his head— “you want to start a load of laundry,” he says, snickering a little.
“It’s just— we’re on the road again in two days, and all my normal stuff is dirty,” Shane says, reaching for the hamper and sifting through to grab only the lighter colors.
“Okay,” Ilya says. He’s still hard, and he presses a hand to the bulge under his pants, ostentatious, a blatant display as Hollander turns to look at him. “You do your household chore in middle of sexy hookup. I will go get naked and lie in your bed, and if you can tear yourself away, maybe you get there in time for me to get inside you before I come.”
Hollander’s eyes darken, flickering down to Ilya’s hand pressed against his groin. “Uh. Give me like. Thirty seconds. A minute.”
And, indeed, it can’t be longer than a minute later that Hollander is naked and climbing on top of Ilya on the bed, the low rumble of the washing machine providing a soundtrack to their embrace.

Hollander stares at him.
And then he starts to laugh.
“You ask the front desk,” he shoots back, in between his odd wheezes. Ilya's heart starts to pound in double time, because this is not—this cannot be Shane Hollander playing bed chicken with him. Their competitiveness is fierce, to be certain, but surely, Hollander would be the bigger person, no? “This is my fucking room, Rozanov. Wild horses couldn't drag me away.”
OR: Ilya's apartment is under construction. Shane's in town for a game. It'd be a shame if they somehow had the same hotel room.

Ilya grins, relishing in the hitch in Hollander's voice. “Is nice when you beg,” he murmurs, before he drops both his hands to Hollander's waist, smoothly undoing the button on his jeans. “Your voice, it gets soft? High?” He shakes his head as Hollander kicks his pants off, leaving him in just socks and his briefs, his dick dripping, a spot of damp precum that's growing against the fabric. Ilya drags his top off but keeps his sweats on, grinning broadly at the other man. “I do not know words for it. But I do know—you are needy, Shane Hollander. Greedy for me.”
OR: Ilya has a lot of wants these days. One of which is a near constant desire to see Shane Hollander ruined in his sheets.
