Summary
Kyo, Ren, and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being Known and Loved; in an exploration/reimagining of their world and characters if, you know—the lore was real, and they were actually in love. Because I have no self-control.
Also, we need more ace representation where the character isn't: A.) an alien who knows nothing of sex, B.) a fabled creature of myth that is simply above such Puny Mortal Feelings, or C.) a robot that simply just Does Not Have Emotions, period. So there's that.
If you're looking for some bonus content, I've split it off from the main story arc into a separate series I'll be updating soon: lunar waltz
*As a Note: The main story is done, however, I will be refraining from marking it complete until I finally get to retconning some details that don't quite fit with the rest of my au/copious headcanons anymore.

In his hands, the bejewelled hairpin feels like a heavy weight. He steps forward and tries not to look too eager.
“I’ve loved you for a long time.”
He sticks out the hairpin awkwardly. It almost slips from his grip, but he manages to grasp it just in time.
“Would you– would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”
...
Dan Heng looks down at his outstretched hand and groans.
Dan Heng practices proposing to Stelle... and eventually ends up proposing for real.

Summary
When she looks up from her food, Himeko is watching them all with a soft smile, eyes bright in the light of the fire. March smiles back, and then she steals some of Dan Heng's carrots and giggles when he retaliates by jabbing her in the forehead with the butt of his fork.
“You have your own bowl,” he tells her.
“But yours tastes so much better!”
“Amen,” Stelle says, going for Dan Heng’s potatoes.
He twists away from her, eyes narrowed, which also means that he twists towards March in the process. She takes the opportunity to steal yet another carrot slice, and he whips his head towards her with a frown.
March just shoves it into her mouth and smiles.
Or, the Astral Express Crew takes a break from trailblazing and decides to spend a few days camping.
