Summary
All Izuku can do is stay on his knees like a statue. His hands fly back like they've been zapped by a high voltage current, fingers twitching, while the horror of the situation starts to dawn on him. Because of his carelessness, a man is going to die.
The guilt a most potent poison storming into his veins. He's so absorbed in the very real crime he's technically just committed—not to mention how he's supposed to turn himself in—that he misses the click-clack of shoes on cement approaching him.
A tongue clicks in annoyance above him. Flinching reflexively, he hunches in on himself, like coming off smaller might reward him with more grace and understanding to the situation he's found himself in. What he hears next has his head jolting upwards in pure, baffling bewilderment.
"Hey, shithead," a gruff, cocky voice growls out, "looks like you just killed my date."
Or: A stroke of bad luck has Izuku crossing paths with Bakugou Katsuki, a son from powerful Yakuza family. Who, more unfortunately, just lost very important personnel for a very important operation. Acting put to the test, Izuku has to show Katsuki that he can hop, too, if it forgives, and Katsuki forgets.

Summary
It's awkward. Their scents are mixing. Izuku can feel the sweat begin to bead at the back of his neck. Their chemistry is tested, the way their bodies react and instincts engage.
It's not about sex. In fact, you're not permitted to have penetrating sex at all. The intimacy that is expected is what keeps them silent. They are free from wandering eyes, gossiping mouths, and nosy ears. They, for once, are Izuku and Katsuki.
That's the problem, Izuku thinks idly, watching as Katsuki sits, respectfully; painfully so, like a statue. Not so much as a wiggled finger or a tensed muscle.
Like he's waiting.
And it hits Izuku then, that he is. Waiting. Leaving the pace up to Izuku alone.
"This is…" His voice shakes, nervous and unsure. "This is the first time we've really been alone, together. If you think about it. Where we can just be… us, I guess. No one around to judge."
"Us?"
"Yeah. Not… two betrothed or an Alpha and Omega. Izuku and Kacchan only."
Or: Arranged to wed to bridge the gap between their tribes, Izuku and Katsuki attempt to dismantle years of biased teachings for not just themselves, but the future of their people, too. And, maybe, grow to love along the way.

“Your brats.” Eijirou presses his cheek between Katsuki’s shoulder blades.
The blond’s fingers tighten uncontrollably under his friend’s knees. A bitter cold sweeps through him that has nothing to do with the storm.
He’s seen Katsuki break; hate himself for being good at everything but gifting Izuku the one thing he wants most. How it’s chipped away at them, how they’ve had fights that’s seen Katsuki over at their home for a fortnight. Every heat, locked together for hours. Trying position after position even if it left Izuku sore for days because of the odd angles.
“I don’t… I don’t have—”
“M-Maybe not yet. Not ever if you don’t make it back home.” Eijirou lets out a steady, tired breath. “Bakugou Katsuki doesn’t lose, r-right?”
Or: Every year, before the long hunt to prepare for the winter, the village people host a week-long celebration of family, love, and instinct. Couples looking to grow their families drink the ceremonial heat brew, asking the Gods for their favor and kindling of new life.

Or: Izuku is saved from death by a Deity, but not all is as it seems. Requiring sacrifices to keep his new healing powers strong over the centuries, he encounters the reincarnations of his first love, only for him to disappear once more before he turns twenty. Eventually, Izuku learns the truth behind the sacrifices, separates the lies from the truths, and the two find the answer to end their seemingly endless cycle of separation.

"Alright then, perv." Izuku wrinkles his nose at Katsuki's too loud address. "One shot."
He gulps in his seat. The anticipation has sweat starting to bead on the back of his neck.
"Normally, we like to chase."
Oh. We. Holy shit. Izuku has never been more acutely aware that people will perceive he has a dick as soon as he moves to stand. Arousal floods from his brain down to his toes curling in his gym shoes.
He's so hyperfixated on every twitch and movement that he sees the moment Katsuki grows broader. His nail beds are starting to adopt a grayish-black hue as they begin to elongate. Kacchan is becoming just as excited about the idea as Izuku is, now that he's given up being in denial.
"You got those woods behind your house, right?" Izuku licks his lips, nodding lamely. "Catch us, and fix it, then I'll acknowledge it, nerd."
"A-Acknowledge what?"
Katsuki places his palms flat onto the tabletop and puts his weight on them as he leans forward, his arms tensing in ways that makes Izuku want to cut into him and eat the meat.
"That you can help me, Deku."
Or: Izuku discovers the root of Katsuki's stress-shifting, and offers himself up to help fix it.

You’re detaching, he reminds himself, mentally slapping his own forehead. You are emotionally detaching like a well adjusted adult who absolutely did not give the guy you’ve been in love with for years an insane gift at a Christmas party to force a reaction.

“‘S not enough.” Izuku’s voice was weak. The smell of fresh blood seemed to have awakened something in him, because he was suddenly capable of looking Katsuki in the eye properly. “There’s more of it in the vessels that go down your thighs,” he said.
Breathless, Katsuki nodded. “Stop being so goddamn shy. Just do it.” He yanked his trousers off, leaving himself bare to Izuku’s sight. He tried not to think about how much he’d imagined this exact moment and grit his teeth.
Izuku’s knees hit the wooden floor of their room.
