Summary
He ignores the foreboding emotion brewing in his chest and picks up his tool again, this time letting the bristles flow on the canvass to render the serpentine body of the dragon, and the dull green gem sitting on the centermost of its upper chest. The harsh lines of its leathery wings follow, their tips attenuating to the whetted margins of its claws.
This is utterly ridiculous. Dragons are supposed to be extinct decades ago, years before he was even born, but the one in his dream is so vivid he's afraid he will wake up one morning to the fangs and drooling maw of the chimeric creature, posed to devour him whole.
Kaveh's dreams are persistently haunted by a creature long known to be extinct.
The Duke Alhaitham decides to make it his problem, too.

“Such a pure and untainted beauty like you should never have to work here,” the Duke grinned at him, his voice low. Neuvillette quietly looked up to meet his gaze – unable to hide the faint blush on his face.
“You’re dancing for a pack of wolves, sweetheart.”
Unwillingly, Neuvillette lost himself in those blue eyes – trying to find the answer to his questions within. Even in the red lighting of the room, Wriothesley looked… especially handsome.
“…Then are you a wolf, sir?”
Those cold eyes became softer – hints of… pleasure, of possessiveness flickering within. The singular hand Wriothesley kept on him at all times moved upwards, stroking him with nothing but admiration.
