“What?” Alice looked down, realizing that the beast’s claws had hooked into the front of her casual outfit, tearing her pink blouse open and detaching the front of her brown pinafore from its straps, leaving her chest and torso exposed. Miraculously, her skin remained unharmed, but she couldn’t say the same for her outfit.
