She nearly stumbled into the corner of her little bedside table and began to dig haphazardly through the drawers. After half the contents was laying on the floor and the other half in disarray, she finally held up that scrap of paper with that certain den-den number and her personal snail phone.

Summary
Crocodile had hoped a Warlord position would open up a world of possibilities for wealth, fame, power, etc. Instead, it introduces him to one Donquixote Rocinante, the Marine captain now responsible for keeping Crocodile in line. Except Rocinante turns out to be far more of an enigma than Crocodile could have expected. There's more than secrets hidden behind his frigid exterior-- and he may not be as loyal to the Marines as he seems, haunted as he is by everything he tried to leave behind.

The large dome he held up brushes the leaves of the bush above it, a cluster of berries droop and fall to the floor, and everything explodes into a cloud of iridescent shimmer.
