The car door is stiff, crackling like a sheet of ice as Dennis shoulders his way into opening it. His fingers are equally stiff as he fumbles with the buttons of his jacket, already feeling the invading cold creeping underneath.
“Where are you going?”
A scoff forces its way out of Dennis’ mouth. “Where do you think I'm going, Mac? We're a ten minute walk from our apartment and my legs still work.”
Mac and Dennis walk home in a snowstorm.

Summary
It was just a pipe dream to get alone time now; even when they were apart, they were still intertwined in some way because Dennis could hear every disgusting, whiny sound from whatever Grindr hook-up was there that night.
A stupid idea popped into his mind, so stupid he let out a small chuckle to himself.
Grindr was free; if he just signed up, he could get Mac out of the house for a hook-up, and have the persona ghost him after. Might give Dennis an hour or two to think; knowing Mac, he’d be dumb enough to wait that long in hopes of the guy showing up.
It was a dumb plan, just to get Mac out of the house for a night or two, give Dennis some much needed alone time. The way it spiraled out of control was unexpected; Dennis was always in control, of himself, of Mac, his emotions- He shouldn't be getting jealous over Mac's boyfriend that he created.

Summary
A woman wakes up on a table with no memories. They tell her her name is Dee and that she has undergone the severance procedure, separating her work memories from her personal ones. Her co-workers Mac, Charlie and Dennis have made peace with it, but the longer Dee spends time on the severed floor the more she wants to escape from that dreadful office. Her determination causes the guys to question their own existence as well and try to find genuine happiness.
