“Do identical twins always present the same? Since our DNA is almost exactly the same?” He doesn’t want to tell Stanley what he’s afraid of. Stanford Pines, always the freak, might not turn out like his brother.
“That’s an excellent question!” The woman smiles and gestures to the DNA string diagram on display. “In many cases, identical twins will have the same secondary gender presentation. However, identical twins don’t share 100% of their DNA so there is always a chance for twins to present differently.”
“Don’t worry, Ford.” He elbows the other, always ready to reassure his brother. “No matter what, we’ll always be together! Like I told ya, pack’a two!”
Everyone had high expectations of Stanford Pines. He would be their ticket out of poverty, their golden child. The pressure of being perfect formed him in ways good and bad. Stanley was never expected to be anything. And so he lost himself to a world that never wanted him.

They've heard stories from their grandpa Shermie about the man. Stanford Pines is a prolific author, both of factual and fiction works, his most famous being a series of children's stories called The Gemini Adventures. He and his husband live in the seemingly quiet town of Gravity Falls. The twins think they're in for a long, boring summer with two crotchety old men, but when Dipper finds a mysterious notebook that indicate The Gemini Adventures might be more than just fantastical stories, things start to get weird. Where did Ford get these stories from? What is Fiddleford hiding?
And who is the mysterious 'S' that keeps appearing in their grunkle's works?

His voice was low and rough, like how Ciri remembered her grandmother’s voice to be after an especially hard battle, her throat raw and sore from yells and commands. But for that reason, the girl found it a comfort. He might not be gentle, but he could be warm. “Nightmares are… difficult.”
She only nodded as she sat up and pulled her blanket tightly around her shoulders. Geralt seated himself at the other end of the bedroll, a good distance away as if to give her space.
“Would you…” It seemed an incredible feat for the man to speak. Like conversation and emotions were more complex than swordplay. “Do you want to, uhm, talk about it?”
