Ever since Buck moved out, there was this weird tension, an elephant in the room, if you will, between them. And Eddie had no idea how to reach across the distance and get Buck back. Most of Eddie’s invitations to Buck to spend time together were declined. His best friend has never been so busy.
When Chim said that there was a firefighter competition for charity in Nashville, Buck had been the first to volunteer. Eddie had offered himself so quickly after that.
He never thought he would have to force his best friend to spend time with him and talk to him, but here they were.

“Eds, everything okay here?”
Buck purposefully uses his nickname for Eddie to assert dominance. He knows Eddie more.
“Yeah, I was just finishing up,” Eddie says but he doesn’t even turn to look at Buck.
He’s still looking at the other man. His cheeks are rosy and his lips are parted, almost as if he was surprised and hadn’t recovered from it yet.
“Here, text me. It would truly be devastating if I didn’t get to test out that pretty blush of yours,” he says and hands Eddie the small piece of paper.
For some reason beyond Buck’s comprehension, Eddie seems too flustered to reply. His cheeks get even redder. He mindlessly takes the number and hums. But he’s not saying anything. He’s not telling the handsome man that he would never be able to go on a date with him. He doesn’t tell him that he doesn’t have the right to talk about how pretty he is. He’s silent.
Buck is dangerously close to committing a crime if he doesn’t end whatever this is, right now.
OR a man flirts with Eddie on a call and Eddie gets flustered. Buck loses his mind.

Summary
“You think we’re seeing too much of Tommy?” Buck asks Eddie one evening, Tommy’s voice floating quietly over the balcony to where Buck and Eddie are exercising in the firehouse gym. Eddie’s running through his usual routine on the punching bag while Buck sits on the bunch, staring at the dumbbells.
Even without looking, Buck knows exactly what move Eddie’s going to pull, exactly when his foot is going to hit the bag. That’s something he has that Tommy doesn’t.
Eddie pants from the exertion, scrubbing his arm across his forehead as he peers down at Buck. “No? He’s just catching up with his old crew, and he’s a pretty nice guy. Why, what’s up?”

Summary
Finally the actual real summary:
This story takes place when Lancelot the shade raised by Morgana returns to Camelot. Take Merlin or Gwen from Arthur whoever he loved most. She also gave him a potion to give Arthur so that he would be driven mad with jealousy and it would make it clear who he truly loved, Gwen or Merlin. Merlin noticed the change in Arthur and figured out Lancelot was a slave to a spell so he left with Lancelot to try and help his friend. He knew that the jealousy potion would wear off. Leon sent Gwaine and Percival after Merlin to protect him because he knew something was wrong and the potion had revealed Arthur's heart. Gwaine is in love with Percival but Percival just thinks he wants to put another notch in his belt. Merlin's plan is to make the journey last as long as possible so that he can figure out how to break the spell over Lancelot. The story starts in the middle of the situation when Merlin leaves with Lancelot and goes from there.
