Summary
“Terrible name, by the way,” Ilya told Svetlana. “We will need to think of new one. This is not 1970’s porn. He is pretty and innocent. Sweet.”
“Oh,” Svetlana said, craning her neck to stare at Ilya’s laptop. “Oh. He is just your type.”
“I don’t have a type,” Ilya lied. If Ilya did have a type—and he did, maybe a little, because if a man didn’t have a preference, he didn’t get to have an opinion—it was this. Muscular but not in an obsessive bodybuilder sort of way, a strong brow, and an ass that Ilya could practically see jiggle when spanked.

Summary
Ilya’s lips purse, and he gets that look on his face that means he’s about to say something terrible.
“You are waiting for me to give you chocolate?” he asks, one of his eyebrows even more arched than usual. There it is.

In which the Boston Raiders are playing the Montreal Metros on February 15th, and it's totally normal for Shane to spend Valentine's Day with his very casual situationship.

Summary
The Metros really were lousy at hockey. Shane Hollander was the only talent they had, which was why they threw the C on his chest before they even made it to the All Star break. The Raiders hadn’t given Ilya even an A yet. Coach had taken him aside and told him they weren’t going to think about a leadership role on the team until he’d finished his rookie year. He had enough to deal with, Coach said, which was nicer than saying Ilya was still nineteen, and his English sucked shit, and they weren’t quite done being worried about “character issues.”
Ilya Rozanov’s rookie year reimagined by someone with serious hockey-watcher brainrot.

Summary
Ilya was good at noticing things about people, and he was good at understanding them. Shane was not. That was okay. Shane had developed his own way of getting to know Ilya. It involved a lot of inane questions and, more importantly, no longer involved condoms.
