San's hands came up in front of him, stopping mid motion of straggling a pretty phantom neck. "The fuck are you on about?"
Wooyoung smiled serenely. "You know when I was a teenager I spent a lot of time wishing for vampires and werewolves to be real—big fan as I said. The grimoire I found on ebay said nothing about this time delay in the spell's effectiveness though…" He trailed off at the end, appearing to consider this seriously, perhaps contemplating whether he should write the seller a belated review and torment them instead.
San was genuinely baffled, lingering fury subdued as he processed all of that. "You…you bought some kind of fake hocus pocus book of ebay?!"

Vampire Choi San's existence spans hundreds of years and he will still claim with absolute confidence that Jung Wooyoung is the most batshit crazy, annoying, high maintenance person he has ever met. Wooyoung doesn’t hate his life, at least not too much. His line of work and duties is a tiring and a very demanding one too. There are days he wishes he hadn’t stepped into the School for Omega Rut Assistants, his own mother pushing him forward hoping he’d pay off their debts quickly.
His profession however, doesn’t change his dreams, doesn’t help with his longings because deep inside, so deep only him and Yeosang know about it, Wooyoung desperately longs for a mate, for a bite on his scent gland and a house full of pups looking like him and his beloved mate.----------------------------------------------------------
“Where’s your cover, Wooyoung?” San asks, his voice suddenly shaky, so different from what little he’s heard him until now. Wooyoung lifts his head and meets the Lord’s eyes, bravely keeping their gazes levelled.
“I was asked to trust you.” Wooyoung quickly explains and swallows, not sure anymore whose warmth he can feel between the two of them. The alpha stares at him, his gaze so heavy, so daring and enticing Wooyoung needs to look away for a second to calm down, to soothe his omega who’s trying to break free and just jump the wolf in front of him.
