But make it he does and there he meets Dan, a baker unlike Phil in every possible way. After a rocky start, Phil realises that maybe he can learn some things from Dan after all, and the biggest things have nothing to do with baking.

Grian briefly considered the idea of getting into a stranger's car in the middle of a blizzard to drive for over an hour to sleep on the floor of some married couple's house.(or: fic about this comic. an unexpected snowstorm has cancelled the flights of both Scar and Grian, who were heading to very different destinations and are now stranded together in the middle of nowhere, Canada)
